When Tumblr first came out I started an account and posted little things on the side but didn’t link to it anywhere. After a month or two I realized I had posted loads of content there and nothing to my primary site. So it seemed logical to switch.

Drupal e-Commerce

For my own reference. This could be highly work-related for me In the future. Drupal is a very versatile, well-engineered CMS (built in PHP). I could really imagine taking the jump and rebuild the whole website for the company I work for.

Drupal can power big commercial websites, like corporate websites, powering both the internal and external parts (i.e. both the intranet and the public website).

At the same time, Drupal is a great choice for community websites, wiki-style knowledge sites, forums and discussion boards… Drupal even works fine as a good old blogging engine.

As I’ve already mentioned, Drupal is very well-written compared to other CMS. The code-base is modern and easy to understand, and it’s highly customizeable (via extensions and plugins).

Basically, it feels like a great foundation to build a small business’ B2B website upon.
