Nothing new, but still a useful tool for all (web) designers. For Mac OS X. From the great folks at Panic.

Upload an image to Pictaculous and it creates a matching color palette for you. A simple and elegant web app — and it works with iPhone and other phones, too. Just email the photo to colors@mailchimp.com and wait a few minutes for a reply.
That’s a creative solution. Simple, but sufficient. Just email the application. But on the other hand, who would have expected anything less from the insanely great developers and designers at MailChimp?
I love MailChimp. In my opinion, it’s one of the most impressive, beautifully executed, web apps out there. It’s easy to use, yet incredibly advanced (and I imagine the complexity of the technology behind the scenes are just frightening).
But still, Mailchimp is easy, and even fun, to use. And when you need them, you’ve got access to a ton of advanced features. To me, that’s the definition of a great product. Designed to be fun and easy, with advanced and powerful features hidden under the hood. Apple gets this. MailChimp gets it. I’m just wondering what MailChimp would look like if Google were to develop it…
Incredible. The best remote iPhone tool out there. With more useful features, a shiny new website and an update to the server application, this iPhone app is better than ever.
